Golf Ice Cream is helping to heal the wounds in the earthquake zone by increasing employment and supporting local producers.

Golf Ice Cream, which has continued its support to the region without interruption since the February 6, 2023 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, continues to contribute to the economic development of the region. While increasing employment at its factory in Kahramanmaraş, the company also demonstrates its support for local producers by sourcing products from the local population. After the earthquake, Golf Ice Cream increased its production capacity by 30% and switched to a three-shift work schedule, increasing its number of employees in Kahramanmaraş to 180 and sustainably supporting regional employment.

Golf Ice Cream, a leading domestic producer in Türkiye for over 20 years, reaches consumers from the heart of ice cream production with its Kahramanmaraş factory, opened in 2014, in addition to its factory in Bursa. Following the February 6th earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş, Golf Ice Cream, with its commitment to social responsibility, strengthens unity, togetherness, and solidarity by providing employment to Kahramanmaraş, while also continuing to support the development of the disaster area and the rapid recovery of our country by sourcing products from local producers.

Support that has continued since the first day of the earthquake.

Golf Ice Cream, which opened its factory in Kahramanmaraş in 2014, mobilized all its resources after the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, and is acting with the vision of healing wounds through unity, togetherness, and solidarity under the slogan "We are always here, because we are from here." By establishing a container city called Golfkent after the earthquake, Golf Ice Cream addressed the housing problems of its employees and continued its accommodation support in 2024, proving its commitment to the local community through increased employment and local sourcing.   

It sourced more than 4 million liters of milk from local producers.

Golf Ice Cream, which quickly reactivated its factory after the earthquake and continued ice cream production, aimed to foster hope in the region through unity and solidarity, and provided significant support to development by focusing on working with local producers. Increasing its workforce in Kahramanmaraş to 180 people after the earthquake, Golf Ice Cream procured over 4 million liters of goat and cow milk from local producers between March 2023 and September 2023 for its Kahramanmaraş factory, where it also produces Golf Maraşım ice cream.
