Clear message from Golf Dondurma to the industry: Transparency, Quality and Sustainability are Our Priority as “Our Ice Cream”

Sıcakların kendini iyice hissettirdiği bu günlerde, Golf Dondurma rengârenk ve lezzet dolu ürünleriyle yaza “merhaba” dedi. Belçika çikolatasıyla fark yaratan Golf Bravo ailesine eklediği Chocolate Extreme, Caramel Biscuit ve Dark Orange ürünlerini duyururken, sütlü Golf Maraşım ve coğrafi işaretli içeriklere sahip Golf Royal Gourmet ürünleriyle kalite ve lezzet iddiasını ortaya koyuyor.
Golf Ice Cream, which accompanies the most enjoyable moments with its delicious ice creams, continues to add new products to its beloved lineup. As a brand of this land, Golf Ice Cream takes on the responsibility of being “Our Ice Cream” with a commitment to quality, transparency, and sustainability, building a relationship of trust with its consumers. With the innovative products it adds to its product family every year, Golf Ice Cream continues to be one of the pioneers of the industry for over 20 years.
“In addition to taste, content transparency and ethical marketing understanding are our fundamental elements”
Ezgi Eröz, Marketing and Business Development Director of Golf Dondurma, who stated that consumer expectations are kept at the center and that content transparency and ethical marketing understanding, in addition to taste, are accepted as fundamental elements, also mentioned that compliance with the Turkish Food Codex is an important topic. Emphasizing that Golf Dondurma meticulously observes the legal criteria for definitions such as “ice cream” and “sorbet,” and bears the responsibility of clearly stating the legal classifications of products on its packaging, Ezgi Eröz said: “According to the Turkish Food Codex, for a product to be called “ice cream,” there are important criteria such as the protein coming from milk and the milk dry matter being a minimum of 10 percent, while for a product to be defined as “sorbet,” it must contain at least 25 percent fruit. Golf Dondurma continues to present its products, which fully meet these criteria, transparently on its packaging without misleading consumers or providing incomplete information.” Eröz also underlined that they maintain a sensitive stance on the matter of grammage, emphasizing that with their heavier products compared to many products of the same volume, they offer value to their consumers through a less air – more content approach.
Bilginer: Sustainability is Coded into Our DNA
Golf Ice Cream Factories Director Levent Bilginer underlined that Golf Ice Cream stands out with its sustainable production practices. Stating that they have reduced energy consumption by 15 percent, water usage by 10 percent, and the amount of plastic in packaging by 16 percent in their production facilities, Bilginer said that they prioritize their environmental responsibilities.
The brand, which demonstrates its claims on taste and quality through its products, expanded Golf Bravo — which stands out with its Belgian chocolate coating — with innovative flavors such as Dark Orange, Caramel Biscuit, and Chocolate
Extreme this year. Golf Maraşım, a testament to Golf's flavors and set to remain a star this year as well, takes its place in refrigerators with ice cream containing 81 percent milk; while Golf Royal Gourmet sets itself apart in the premium segment with its geographically indicated ingredients such as Silifke strawberry and Bodrum mandarin. Embracing the “Our Ice Cream” message not merely as a marketing statement but as a production and brand responsibility, Golf Ice Cream greeted the summer season with a strong vision focused on quality, trust, and transparency.
